Faithful Philly brings Catholics together to uphold the dignity of immigrant communities, strengthen our shared civic life, and serve the common good.
Through prayer, formation, public witness, and collaboration with immigrant-led and justice organizations, we create meaningful ways for Catholics to learn, build relationships, and respond together with compassion, courage, and hope.
What Grounds Us
Our Catholic faith shapes how we see one another and gives us the courage to respond when human dignity is overlooked or denied.
Rooted in prayer, Scripture, and the teachings and traditions of the Church, we bring relationships, communities, institutions, and a public witness that proclaims that no person is disposable and no neighbor should be forgotten.
We offer these gifts with humility, working alongside immigrant-led and justice organizations to strengthen the common good and make the hope of the Gospel visible in public life.
Solidarity arises precisely when we decide not to remain indifferent to what happens to our neighbor but instead to transform unavoidable bonds — economic, cultural and technological — into paths of sharing, cooperation and mutual care, embracing the idea of “thinking and acting in terms of community (74).

We begin by listening to affected communities and the organizations already leading the work. Their experiences help us understand where Catholic participation may be useful.
