A Growing Catholic Network of Faith and Action
Faithful Philly connects Catholic people and institutions to pray, build relationships, develop leadership, and act together for dignity, justice, and the common good.
We seek to live the Gospel faithfully through solidarity, public witness, and care for our neighbors.
Since Ash Wednesday (2026), we have organized 8 vigils, bringing together around 800 participants.

About Us
-
We are grounded in the sacred dignity of every person, created in the image of God and worthy of love, safety, and belonging.
We draw strength from prayer, Scripture, and the teachings and traditions of the Church. We also listen to the wisdom of communities who bear the weight of injustice, trusting that the Gospel calls us not only to compassion, but to conversion and action.
-
We believe that we are called to listen deeply, discern faithfully, and act with courage.
We bring Catholics together to share our gifts, strengthen one another, and respond collectively when our neighbors face injustice. We seek to follow the leadership of those most affected and to place our presence, institutions, and moral voice at the service of dignity and the common good.
-
Faithful Philly began in 2025, when Catholics across Philadelphia answered the call of the One Church, One Family campaign and gathered in prayer and public witness for immigrant families.
We carried that commitment forward through the Season of Faithful Witness in 2026. Those vigils, processions, and relationships revealed a deeper calling: not only to gather in moments of crisis, but to remain together for the work ahead.
Today, we continue to strengthen relationships, raise new leaders, and discern how the Church in Philadelphia is being called to stand with our neighbors and act faithfully in public life.
